First of all Tucker let me bring you back to reality, like the voice and others have previously stated, the person who had the baby was not a man, biologically she was born a woman and genetically nothing can change that. She will always be a woman Tucker, so lets stop engaging in the "Willing Suspension of Disbelief" Let's stop referring to women as men, and men as women, regardless of what they they think they are. Whatever she does to herself physically, the bottom line is, genetically she is a woman.

Sorry Jamal, but I think you were born about 30 yrs too late to straighten me out on anything! Now, having said that, I will refer to this person by whatever he/she chooses to be referred to by. It is a matter of personal respect and nothing more, to me! I'm not going to pass any of my own sanctimonious judgments on this confused individual. There are enough ethnic, racial, and religious misnomers running around in the world today. If you want to get spiritual, CONFUSION is the devil's playpen! I know who I am, but thanks for the effort anyway.

I agree with Tucker, Jamal. If you are a Christian don't you want to be refered to as a Christian and not a Mormon or Bapitist? It's a matter of respect for the person and how they feel about themselves.

First of all Tuck you don't know when I was born so therefore you are assumimg that I was "born 30 yrs too late to straighten you out" Never the less, let me again try to bring you out of that state of "willful suspension of disbelief". Also, I never mentioned spirituality, however, I did mention genetics. If the woman in question were to die in an explosion and was disfigured beyond recognition, any dna found would identify the person as a female, not a man, not a transgender, not a transexual, but a female. Regardless of how many operations she has or what she would like to be known as, genetically she is a woman. As far as her being in the process of transgender surgery, and will therefore become a male, How ludicrous! If you sewed wings on a dog would it be in the process of becoming a bird! LMAO.

well until s/he is dead we need to respect the person and call it by the correct term! It's a matter of respect, not DNA, that should define how you address a person. Do you refer to a king as a man? Because going along with your train of thought, after the king is dead it's DNA will say that it was a man/woman not a king.

First of all Jamal thats why I said "I THINK you were born." The word "THINK" allows me some liberties so right or wrong, what difference does it make? Second of all to use a consistent countdown to start sentences is far too mundane, that gives me a clue as to your chronology also. Especially since I've never seen a "second of all" in any of your posts! Where does that pesky "second of all" go?

Okay, I'm waiting 4 U to try to bring me where ever it is you're talking about. Come on. Look I aint got all day. Okay, you got me, feather in your cap!

Surely thats not the best you can do. After all the dna testing, any reporter worth his salt would have to include in the report that this person was in the process of transgender surgery, that moots your attempt at making a point, would you agree?

Try this one on for size, what does dna say the gender of a "hermophodite is?"

Ludicrous indeed, when my kids were 4 or 5 yrs old they were wise enough to fill in the blanks while coloring and stay within the lines. I gave the readers of the post the benefit of the doubt, perhaps I overestimated the mental prowess of some. I humbly apologize to those who might fall in that category.

Now thats what you call ludicrous and to answer the question no. Here, try this one, "WHICH CAME FIRST THE CHICKEN OR THE EGG?!" Care to guess smarty pants, tee hee! (shut up cc5k)

Let's not obfuscate the issue kisha, it's not about respect it's about reality, and your "king" analogy is a bad comparison. A king is a title whereas a man or woman is a gender based on biology. If you want to convince yourself that a woman is a man and therefore refer to her as a man, thats your prerogative, however, I choose not to do so. Also calling a woman a woman is the correct term, to do otherwise is delusional. It is what it is.
