Would a Man Steal From God?

A woman, Mary Sue Moore, stole $32,000.00 from her church in Dyesburg, TN. She was given probation by the judicial system and ordered to repay the money. The court said they were lenient because of her age, she was 60! (LOL)


A local church distributed 6 envelopes to 6 random people, containing a total of $30,000.00. The recipients were/are supposed to go out and commit various random acts of kindness around the city with the money issued to them. These were people who'd submitted their names earlier in the year, as entities that would be willing to "honestly" participate in this project. Presently, the jury is not in on the success, failure, or implementation of the project.

If an apostel in bibical times would take money to have God's son murder, why wouldn't a man of God today, not steal from His house of worship?

Hell, you have ministers who tell you that they are "doing God's work" when they buy private jets, helicopters, mansions, Rolls-Royces, etc., using money donated to by church members. I see this as no different except that the woman in question was more straight-up regarding her theft.

i wouldn't have gave a damn if she was 60 she is old enough to know what the hell she was doing and besides as old as she is they're probably not going to get all the money back before she crokes.

not all pastors but some really do give the others a bad name that's why alot of people veer away from the church
