Education texas style
Teachers in the Texas School District of Harrold, I believe, are being encouraged and trained to carry weapons in school. Administrators say the reason for this is law enforcement is so far away that by the time they got on the scene, any incident is over. If the teachers are armed with counter measures it might discourage those who would perpetrate an incident of violence anyway.
They are being trained in the use of deadly force, they must have so many hours of counselling and training also as to when is the appropriate time to pull a weapon. One proposed scenario was what if a student is attacking a teacher. Would the teacher who would ordinarily be inclined to push the student back, pull his/her weapon and shoot the student instead? I suppose we'll just have to wait and see.

I'm totally for it.The kids are getting too crazy nowadays leaving the teachers too exposed to danger.they have a family they want to go home to just like everybody else.And another thing it's Texas, we'll shoot or fry you in a minute!!!!I love being a Texan!!!!

Angeladc, if you saw someone get their hand cut off, would you "fix" it by putting a band-aid on their wrist? Oh, and by the way, the band-aid is covered in disease and bacteria...
