Today I decided to take advantage of the free chicken sandwich at McD’s. I didn’t need it. I can stand to lose some weight, but the idea of getting something for nothing was the best reason to go. So as I was walking back (burn those calories!!!) to my gig, I heard a “PSSSTTT, PSSSSTTTTT…. Hey you!”. I ignored the man and continued on.
Fast forward to arriving back at work ……
I placed my hand on the entrance door and I heard a horn.
It was that nut that tried to holla earlier. That nut followed me to my job! The jerk wanted to tell me to have a nice day since I wouldn’t “holla” back. Okay, my adrenalin is flowing…and I’m scared. What if I slipped and fell while I was trying to run away? What if the elevator took FOREVER AND A DAY like it usually does? Well, I didn’t fall and the elevator was still slow. I lived. I’m not on the afternoon news.
Moral of the story:
Always keep your head up and stay alert…even when you’re dreading the thought of gaining five pounds from eating lunch.
