Now that Obama has Biden, I don’t know that McBush has much choice than to choose Romney. He is supposed to announce his choice tomorrow but I wouldn’t be surprised if he did it this evening while Obama is giving his speech.

That would be stupid because then he would get no coverage. He'll do it tomorrow if he's smart to take away some of the Dem's media coverage they'd otherwise be getting right after the convention.

Actually, the initial plan WAS to announce this during Obama’s speech but they decided against it. ALL the excitement was over Obama’s pick. No one really gives a damn who McBush chooses especially not the Friday before a holiday weekend. LOL

Got a female conservative governor, I think from Alaska. She is pro drilling while McBush is not. Other than that, they're as cozy as two peas in a pod. Or so it would seem.

Hey look... only one person voted "None of the Above". Wonder who that was!

I must admit though... I was not expecting a woman. This will definitely be an interesting campaign. Let's hope this doesn't help McCain much!

I don't know if it will help him or not but, it was definitely a play for Hillary voters. However, I highly doubt that they'll fall for the okey-doke like that.
I think that what McCain may not be understanding is that many of these women (and men) wanted Hillary Clinton, not just any woman.
However, McCain can't use the experience argument any more. He's 72 and it's not impossible that, due to his age, he could encounter some health challenge that would cause him to leave office, leaving the country in the hands of a person whose state-wide experience involves her being in her first term as governor (she served on a city council and as a mayor of a town before being elected governor). So, with this person being one heartbeat from the presidency, McCain can't talk about inexperience.
So, we'll just have to see.
