I agree. I can't speak for the women voters... but speaking for myself (like JP said) I wanted Hillary b/c it was Hillary. This female VP pick won't even make me flinch about my preference for Obama.

I have mixed views about this one:

On one hand, experience has always been the main focus with the other side so it’s a bit puzzling why they’d choose someone who now negates that argument. Unless, of course, Palin is being used by the Republicans to put a magnifying glass on Obama to make people question HIS experience level just as many have questioned hers all weekend. Hmmm…

On the other hand, I think the Republicans sat back and watched the day-to-day drama unfold around Hillary and they simply made a tactical move. McBush alone could NOT rally the Conservative troops but choosing a woman who is a gun-totin-pro life extremist? They’re gonna run to the polls!
