A few friends of mine and I, at work, are taking bets as to how long its going to be before the local press and insiders are calling Michelle Obama by her first name should she and her husband successfully win the presidency? Bear in mind now, no matter what the Washington press thought of the president, every first lady is referred to as such and seldom by name first.

They need only call her FLAWLESS because that’s exactly what she was last night!

It was a little too "HOKEY" for me so I didn't watch it. Especially knowing that every line had been rehearsed and practiced to perfection earlier. I mean "The last thing I think of at night and the first thing I think of in the morning," doesn't that sound a little hokey? Well thats what the party had scripted for her. They wanted her to wax eloquently on Obama's family values as a father, husband and overall good guy. They particularyly requested that she stay away from "perceived" political abilities or inabilities and for goodness sakes, don't mention anything that could be perceived as "ELITIST!"

I was listening to the Michael Baisden show this afternoon and he had Wycleffe John on there. John was promoting the vote and of course the vote for Obama. I was surprised at the number of ladies that called in praising Michelle's poise and excellence during the delivery of her speech. So many of them found they could clearly relate to her and it seemed to them, she was speaking directly to them. It seemed that none of them had a clue that the speech was contrived and written by the democratic party and she was reading exactly what they wanted her to read. Theres nothing wrong with that I suppose, but it does say that you'll allow yourself to be controlled by the entity in your favor.

Now she may've felt all that stuff just the way she expressed it last night, but last night was clearly a night that belonged to the excellence of the speech writers.

Don't they all have speech writers? IMO, it's about making the speech your own. Having said that....she was OK. Based on the info that some crazy white boys had a plot to kill her husband I may have to upgrade that to she did GREAT.

NO NO NO, Read the last line of my post again, I thought it was a wonderful speech. I also didn't say anything negative abouit Michelle.
