There is a classic tune called "SUNRISE!" It is a pure d ripoff of a classic HALL & OATES tune. The responsible group is SIMPLY REDD and they tear the tune up! So much so that you overlook the obvious ripoff!

While I'm in this particular forum, I want to thank you again BISHMAN for putting that video up by "LOOSE ENDS" on the tune "TELL ME IF YOU STILL CARE!" Thats a beautiful ballad and when I crank the reel to reel up, everybody on the block wants to know who it is. I always put it on when cutting my grass, or working round my house.

Hey Tuck, Hall & Oates is one of my favorite groups. The song Simply Red covered is called “I can’t go for that”. I have to agree with you, they did one helluva job with it (if I find it I’ll post it for you).

It's almost impossible to cover a classic. LUTHER was IMO the best at doing it. Gotta make the song your. I'll have to keep an ear out for that Simply Red cover.

I guess some things never change right now a lot of people still think Robin Thicke is a brother. Oh and btw, the same thing for Bill Clinton, a lot of people thought he was a brother also! LMAO
