My wife loves to eat off other peoples plate! You know, taste yours and of course, she expects you to taste hers! It was cute, once, a long, long, time ago! No matter where we are she'll do this, no matter how many times she's been told how irritating it is. Everyone from our kids (3), to her sisters (5), has told her at one point in time or another, how irritating this is, but she persists. She'll even pout and make me feel awful with little remarks, for weeks, when I tactfullly try to steer her away from this irritating habit of hers!
Wait a minute, Wait a minute, Don't tell me you're a taster too?! SORRY bout dat!

I used to be a dipper, but upon my husband's persistant prodding (what is up with y'all?) I went to dipper's anonymous and gave it up. If someone wants me to taste something, they'll offer it to me...My name is Refreshing, and I'm a dipper...

my husband does this to me all the time. I have told him numberous times that it's rude, but his dipping along with wanting to smell my food (practically putting his nose in my food is just to much) has pushed me to the point where I won't eat my food anymore when he does it. Then he gets upset and i tell him I don't want it anymore. besides he's setting a bad example for our daughter, showing her that she can just take whatever she wants, whenever she wants. If he has something that i want to try I ask if i can have a taste, I even ask our daughter if i can taste her food.

I don't dip...
I don't drink behind anyone or allow them to drink from my cup/bottle...even when my kids were little...no backwash for me...just nasty...
My ex hubby would grab my fork and eat off it...I would go make another plate...he'd say, 'I can shove my tongue all down your throat kissing, but I can't eat off your plate!'
