You telling me I don't believe in a god that created me is just like me telling you that you believe in a make-believe being that makes you feel secure about the unknown. There's a concept called Mutually Assured Destruction (M.A.D.) that was popularized in the 1950's. The concept is this... If we both (US and Russia) have enough nukes to completely destroy each other, then neither country will start an attack because it would mean they would also be killed. they label themselves as "christians" as many people do> but they are NOT christ like, and christ does NOT know them.

which is why society thinks "christians" are messed up. but they are people who don't know christ but "believe" in God and want to label themselves that. But its a lie. And so now the world takes the "real christ like" people as jokes.

a christ like person is NOT building a bomb. Christ has all compassion for human life and would not have that type of mind to do that. SO your argument is completely false.

well if you want god to be real to you he will if you let him. But praying and asking god to perform magic tricks such as "please god make this pencil move so i can know you are real" is NOT going to work. DO YOU THINK GOD is that little were he should perform stupid magic tricks. WHAT AN INSULT.

now if you ask him, "please make yourself real to me in my life" and you are praying and fasting and keep at it persistently he will.

I know he is real NOT because of my parents. THERE ARE MANY People who are raised in the church but do not accept christ. But god is real to me because i allowed him to be real in my life. But if you continue to denounce him, your heart will harden and you won't see him.

If you read that thread, you'll see that I explained a case where "building a bomb" is the best option for those with compassion for human life. M.A.D. has proven to prevent WW3 thus far.

Did God say that to you? Or did you read that in a book that was written by humans and edited for social and political gain (fyi: that would be the Bible)?

And if I say I'm the alpha and omega, does that make it true? If you have a reason to believe this stuff, let's hear it. Otherwise, I don't see how your belief is different than someone who believes in Santa Clause and the Tooth Fairy.

Quite frankly, your explanation could just as easily be applied to the universe. It has always been and it always will be. In fact, someone won a Nobel Prize for proving that matter (energy) cannot be created or destroyed. (Maybe the next Nobel Prize will be for proving the existence of a god... I'm not holding my breath!) If the universe has always existed, who needs a god?

Well, here's the problem with that. There are plenty of Muslims in this world that believe in THEIR god just as much as you believe in yours, and for many, even more. People that are willing to die for their beliefs should be proof enough that they truly BELIEVE. Now, where do you get off saying that the story of Jesus and your Christian god is correct and theirs is false? Have you compared the religions? Do you have some reason to believe that your Bible accurately reflects the truth?
