THIS IS A SPECIAL ABREVIATED EDITION OF THE JUICE:
ISAAC HAYES was decked out in his purple african affiliated outfit yesterday. He was put away like royalty. In attendance was DENZEL WASHINGTON, SAMUEL L JACKSON, WESLEY SNIPES, TOM CRUISE, UMA THURMOND, and many, many, more, including local celebrities. IKE left 12 kids and a wife. His youngest child is less than a year old. Ike's birthday is this coming wednesday, I think he'd've been 66.
The private service was held at Memorial Funeral Home on Poplar Avenue.
IKE'll be missed greatly by Memphis and by me.
