Mogadishu

Ok, I was doing this paper on the capitol of Samolia, which happens to be, Mogadishu. There was a few disturbing things going on in there that I was curious about. Not specifically talking about Africa, but why can't black folks love black folks? I know that is an age old question, but for real, after ages of being supressed why is it that black folks "can't get along?" As I was writing my paper I noticed how they were destroying each other and it just made me think on how we can do something like that to ourselves, but then again, as I think about it they did have their own wars and battles within themselves. So can I just assume that people in general are battling within themselves for no reason at all?

Man there was a great movie about the battle in Somalia told from the U S perspective of course, a yr or 2 ago. You should see that before you finish your paper. It was "BLACK HAWK DOWN," or something like that. I learned a lot about the war and reasons for our involvement in it over there. Everybody's got their own warlord and we went there in support of ours. Its been the same everywhere we've been since VIET NAM, I know for sure and its the same today in the middle east. You best believe we have more than just pride and oil at stake over there!

Yes, I had the opportunity to see that movie a while back and it was tripped out! I was like "WHOA." And I got a great understanding, but I have to get the facts from the religious side of the Somali people.
