The metamorphosis
|
|
EVOLUTION IS A SLOW PROCESS INDEED. Are we not only witnessing, but actually participating in the metamorphosis of B F R U? The emphasis, of late, seems to be dramatically shifting. The board seems to be getting dominated by information on family, gardening tips and recipe swapping. Not that any of that is bad, maybe thats the boost you were seeking a while back Jay Pee.
So in the spirit of the new venue:
I have a frigidaire washing machine. The water doesn't drain at any of the spin cycles. The tumbler spins and the machine goes through all the cycles, but the water will not drain. I'm a wee bit of a tinkerer and I'd prefer to fix this myself if I can if its not too technical or expensive. Anyone got any suggestions?

I don't know if I would say "dominated". To be honest the subject matter outside of current events is and has been the same since I've been here. "Slavery" "What position" "Interracial Dating" "Homosexuality" etc.....Metamorphosis....nah maybe changing of the guard. LOL

I don’t really mind a different (and younger) perspective on topics. Again, it’s one of those “respond to what interests you and bypass what doesn’t” type of deals. LOL

No set format that I know of but, you may want to check with JP. Post what you want. You may get a response and you may not.

Check your drain hose, it may be stopped up.

Now thats what I'm talkin about, but thats not the case. I think the problem is more electronic because when the switch/knob goes to the spin cycle, it seems to not engage the drain sequence at all. Hey, but don't stop, I'm fishing here. Some are keepers and some you throw back, RIGHT! Thanks Jamal

No problem, you may also want to check your switch/knob, it may be out of alignment. It could be loose and in the wrong position.

And to the police out there I'm not usurping the topic. I posted this so, as I was about to say:
A guy at work suggested the pump might possibly be bad. He said if that be the case, I'd have to drain the water thats present, then turn the washer up so that I can get to the pump, take the old one off and install a new one. It sounds so simple when you're saying it!

It sure felt like it for a while! I thank Jesus himself that people like you have showed up lately and started changing that. I know how to go to CNN.com myself... I don't need to come to BFRU for that.
