Yeah, I heard that this morning. Gore as you guys know was Clinton's former VP. He also ran a possibly successful campaign for the white house against Geo Bush, but he quit! Though he is from TN, I said I'd never support him for anything again.

No, I'm thinking of GORE, who did quit when he ran for the presidency and got beaten by a Florida miscount or some such bullshyt. Basically he said rather than a recount, with the swing dependent on Florida, where GW's brother was governor, he conceded the election. Hell the votes for the military and absentees hadn't been counted and certified.
Yes perhaps Kerry should be added to the list of quitters, but far and away AL GORE leads the pack. Sorry kiddo, but this time you're absolutely wrong and I'm absolutely right. Its not nice to mess with FATHER NATURE, especially if you aint got your facts straight. I know what I'm saying, or I wouldn't say it!

he didn't quit, the Supreme Court stopped the recount and subsequently gave the presidency to the Shrub...

I haven't seen it either, but I'm thinking the same thing as you. The facts were pretty much covered every day of the week and twice on Sunday by the news media back when it all happened.
