The web is a great place to talk over issues that effect us as a people. I live in Detroit. Born and raised. There are so many of us who are looking for real progress, that will benefit us all. This is a great place to start .

i wish to apologize... this is the first that i've seen this intro thread....

was invited to this site by JayPee because he and I participate in a black cincy board, came on and joined some time ago, and just recently got back....

42, single, NBM, current SO resides in Newark, DE, but we both are thinking of relocating to the UK... I have a couple of friends there and he wants to give his production business some 'new blood', as it were....

like one brotha stated prior, I didn't exactly listen to talk radio until my late 30's, by then it was black talk when I resided 'up south' in Boston....

I have no kids, but am seriously looking into adoption, siblings if possible... I'm not a fan of that whole 'separating the sisters/brothers' foulness that some agencies do, especially to our kids....

as JayPee will tell you, I love black folx, african americans, americans of african descent, latin peeps, asian peeps, native, and generally folx of color... we've been hoodwinked and bamboozled into hating and fighting against each other because the enemy knows that if we were to come together, they'd be shyt outta luck.... :laugh: i'm not the most religious person, more spiritual, attend church (episcopal), and currently have very, VERY little for the current crop of faux christian hypocrites that have tried to inject THEIR WAY OF LIVING into everyone else's....

I have 3 sisters, no brothers, 2 bro-in-laws, 1 nephew and 3 nieces... had two cats, but buried one last year, looking to purchase a dog and cat.... and just celebrated 2 yrs in my house, and am looking to get on HGTV or DIYnetwork.... :D

The "enemy"? I have a problem with considering white people our enemies. Right-wing Christian conservatives? ...ok, I'll go along with you there:)... but not for the entire white race. There are a lot of white folks that are on OUR SIDE!
