I've noticed a few new names on BFRU lately. I wanted to take this chance to give a warm welcome to:

I won't tell all my business until I get more comfy. I'm in my late 20's. Wk for the gubment and live in IL w/ my pooch, Romeo. He's my only child/dog. I'm going to get a Rottweiller when I get a bigger place. I love those big head dogs. I'm only 4'11" so I'll look like I'm the ish handling such a powerful dog.

I'm working towards a black belt in Karate. I do a little competing but not much b/c I don't really like that whole getting hit thing. I'm only taking Karate for the self defense and work out of it all.

Well that's enough. Hopefully I will get to "kick it" with the BFrU crew like I did w/ my BSM fam.

Welcome aboard! Thanks for the intro... that was plenty of info for people that are still strangers to you. :) Look forward to our discussions, and I sincerely hope your employer doesn't pull the plug on BFRU for you. But if they do, come see us in evenings and weekends! :D :wave:

I'm Veronique. I learned about this site from some of my BSM buddies that fell victim to the streets (white man always trying to keep us down, dammit!). I'm just looking around, don't mind me. I left my shoes at the door and I'll lock up after I leave.

Welcome. Are you one of the owners of the BSM forum? I hope you stay around here for a long time, even though BFRU and BSM might be considered "competitors".

Hey welcome kiddo! Its good to have some fellow vets on here. Where you stationed, what branch and MOS? That is unless its top secret! There is one of your fellow small dog lovers on here also. She's not a vet, she's active duty Army. ***look at me telling her business***

Hey, I'm a vet...disabled at that (Army, 8 yrs). BTW, I can burn when it comes to baked goods. I can burn a boxed meal, ramen noodles, boiled eggs and mac 'n cheese (now that's from scratch). :grin:

Heyyyyy, many a day been made on ramen noodles, w/egg in S E Asia and the orient! Always a pleasure to commo w a fellow vet! Say what you want, we're a special breed and not many can
