Do Swing Parties Enhanced a Relationship?
|
|
I've spoken to a male friend, in which he claimed that his wife let him go to swing parties because it enhances their marriage. I dont have a problem with that but the problem i have is that the wife does not goes to these swing parties. That is probably every man's dream to have a wife like that. LOL According to him she is not into sex like that so she allows him to go get it some place else. To be honest I dont honestly believe that his wife knows he goes to Swing parties on a regular basis. As far as I know, she thinks that he is DJaying on the weekends. What's your opinion on this? Is it ok for a married man to go to Swing parties on his own without his wife?? Swing parties were originally started with married couples.

There are a couple BFRU members that swear by the relationship advantages to swing parties; however, I'm pretty sure they refer to cases where BOTH partners attend.
You may be right that a lot of men would like the freedom to do that, but personally I wouldn't do it (or even enjoy it!) for the simple fact that I KNOW my wife would not like the idea of me screwing other women at a party, and I would not be able to ignore the guilt.
It's hard for me to imagine a woman that would be comfortable with a situation like that, but if there is... then I suppose it would be OK for their relationship. But on this, I'm with you Socakay, that my guess is that she doesn't really know the details about what and how often he's doing this.

Honestly, I don't see how it enhances the relationship. To me, it just seems like a way to have your cake and eat it too. But, hey, if both are cool with it, who am I to say anything?

Were you talking about me, Ccck5? lol
I think that if both know what is going on what does it matter? BUt that is the key point, both partners have to know and understand what is going on.

If I recall correctly, there were a couple of ladies on here some time ago who were all off into this. As for me, I'm far too possessive for this lifestyle. But the concept is intriguing nonetheless.
btw, Naa, I don't think they enhance a relationship by any means. They might be a momentary diversion, but the suspicion will linger forever. Sorta like if a mans mate is raped. Aside from the violence of the act, ol boy will wonder secretly a long time if there was any enjoyment.........no matter how perverted.

to each his own.
But I definitely think if both parties are not involved then it's not exactly swinging.
I'd categorize that as cheating...kinda...since his wife knows and agrees.

it's not ok for married people to go to swing parties period.what's the point of marriage if you're going to share yourself with the world, might as well have stayed single.

You recognize that this is your personal opinion and many people feel their marriage has a purpose even though they are swingers, right?

Exactly what I was thinking. I never understood that figure of speech anyway.

Although I agree with you, I feel compelled to point out the fact that you are involved in somewhat of a swinging situation yourself. Your ex and your boyfriend. Just an observation. You look like a lot of fun btw, tee hee!
