Gwatney killed

The chairman of the ARKANSAS DEMOCRATIC PARTY was shot to death today in LITTLE ROCK, ARK. A man barged into the headquarters screaming he wanted a job and began firing. The chairman B. GWATNEY was hit 3 times. The secretary in the midst of all the confusion ran across the street and called police. The assailant was shot and killed by police after a 30 mile chase. He is yet unidentified.

GWATNEY is the brother of Memphis car dealership owner Bill Gwatney.
