Asteroids Champion!
Default YWFD (The Good Samaritan)

Last night there was an accident at the corner of Shelby Drive and Hillbrook. An older model buick ran a red light and t-boned an 06 toyota camry. There were 5 adults in the buick and a woman and 3 kids in the toyota. A registered nurse was also passing thru the intersection and witnessed the accident. She stopped her vehicle and went over to offer assistance on the scene until medics arrived, leaving her 13 yr old son in her vehicle.

While the nurse was in attendance, 3 people who'd been in the buick went over to the nurse's vehicle and attempted to carjack it with the 13 yr old son in it. One of them successfully entered the vehicle, started it and left the other two on the scene, running along side trying to get into the vehicle also. The 13 yr old was forced out of the vehicle, as it rolled down the street, a short while later.

As it happens, there were no serious injuries at the accident scene, the 13 yr old was treated at the scene and released and neither the woman's vehicle, or the perpetrator, have been seen since.

The investigation of course is ongoing.
