angeladc, are you assuming all the ladies will have kids? People that don't have children overwhelmingly live happier lives than those that do. Just an FYI for those who haven't had kids yet!

Can I assume you're familiar with the studies (a couple of them being very recent) that show the relationship between having kids and being happy?

They all say the same thing...

I'm bringing it up to you b/c you seem to be one of the few that is willing to break away from the "norm" to do what's smart.

I can take it or leave it, I like being able to get up and go when I want to...a kid will prevent that...I like to shop...a kid will dip into my shopping money, lol...again..if it happens within the next year, I'm cool, if not, I'm still cool, but after a year is up, preventative methods will be enforced!

at one point, it was... but now that the clock is done ticking, i'm more inclined to look into adoption.... in the meantime, I'm helpin out w/ my nieces and nephew and their friends...
