Told my wife almost the exact same thing one day while looking out over the campus of M S U. She was having a bit of an anxiety attack about finding a job in her field (accountancy) at her age (43, shhhhh). I think it was the fear of competing against younger graduates whose minds hadn't been poisoned (by life)as atomiclarry put it, that was getting to her. Shes fine today!

I agree. I have a man, but I'm not dead set on having a child. I would be fine not having one, but if it happens within the time frame I've set, cool.

For a long time, I viewed having a husband as optional (not because I grew up in a single parent home, because I didnt) just because I knew at certain points in my life, trying to be serious with one person would do more harm than good to that person...I tried to be with one person, he cheated, then I cheated..then he kept on cheating, it was a disaster, the trust was gone on both parts after that....but fast forward to now and things are 100% better..so is the person I'm with.

I am in my mid-20's so I don't feel any clock ticking. However, I do think that 35 is absolute latest that a woman should be pregnant.

Well ladies, if I can put my two sense in it; I do have children and if I could go backwards I would have chosen to live life differently. You really have to be careful on the choices you choose. I'm not with either one of my childrens mother's and if I had to do it all over again I would have waited, but I wouldn't take anything from my kids right now or then. I love them all that much more, knowing that there is a purpose for them being here; as is any child that comes into the world.
