You and everyone else on this forum is "mixed" if we get technical. Unless both of your parents are as black as this font, then you're mixed. But mixed people tend to call themselves black even when they're probably more white. Take sensitiveguy for example.

Why didn't I think of watching Star Trek to see what the future holds for us?

You see, even you see the preposterousness of such a suggestion. Everyone was still something different, Spock was VULKON, etc.

But "how black" were they? No chance there was someone way back in on some branch in the family tree from a different race? Most likely there was for all of us.

Few Blacks who became americans through the medium of slavery, have managed to escape the stigma of barbarian influence. Unfortunately for us as descendants, there was little or no consideration given to dignity, equality, or fair play, then or now. The enslavement of Blacks was no accident. We were the chosen people, so to speak, perfectly suited for the needs of the country at the time. We were of the right temperament, gullible, easily adaptable, and we took great pride in our accomplishments, what ever they were. Nothing is 100%, so there were a few who either would not break, or weren't worth the effort. They were used as examples. If the WILLIE LYNCH SYNDROME is a myth, so is slavery, as we knew it to be then and as we know it to be now.
