I'm not proud of anybody who has enough money and since to know better. Sounds harsh I know, but my path is the same towards Hollywood. I don't care about stardom, I just care about showing an image of African-Americans that is positive and forward thinking.
Anyway, personally I hope that she and many starlets get on the right road to do great things, however they have many people around them to advise them. And when a star goes the wrong way, to me they are forgetting first who they really are and second - allowing people who don't really matter in their lives to control and manipulate them.
When I get my millions, I could care less about what a reporter thinks or what another person who doesn't walk in my shoes thinks. I look at it like this, when Star Wars first came out (1977) it got bad reviews, when the last version came out a few years back - it got bad reviews. But who cares, the fans liked it and Lucas is a millionaire for it. You don't see him jumping through hoops for the papratzzi.
