Unless you're confused about what "collapsing" means, then you shouldn't be typing any LOL's. This isn't some panic scenario derived from ignorance and pessimism. This is based on a study UC-Berkeley put out ~5 years ago, which I have quoted numerous times on this forum during illegal immigration discussions.

The bottom line (findings from the study) is that illegal immigrants actually have a large POSITIVE net effect on the US economy. California and Texas were the only two states to have slightly negative ones.

The reasonable conclusion/speculation was that removing illegal immigrants would drive up the prices of most goods and services without a corresponding increase in our wages. In an already fragile (and currently declining) economy, it doesn't take a team of Economics PhD's to figure out what would happen. Although, they have discussed it and came to the same conclusion sista and myself have.
