I'm with you on this one. The video camera's recording and his vantage point could have been from totally different places. What about what she could have done? She could have stepped back and let the guy at the register, instead of struggling with him.
Also, having working in a gas station before, the training you get on this is a brief, staged video. Mostly, they are teaching you about making regular cash drops in the safe so you don't have too much money in the drawer when the robber shoots you.
