* Deep in her sedation lets out a blood curdling scream, but not one of pain, one of fear. Just as Deacon Jones is walking in, and Dr. Wood is leaving*

NOOOOOOOO!!!! DON’T LET IT GET ON YOU!!!!

*Startled by the intensity of her scream Dr. Wood spins around. Jasa and Iya both reach for Pollie, while Deac just stands there looking scared as hell.*

*Pollie whispers*
Nobody knows…nobody knows…

*Shonda doesn’t know why but her gut told her to get back to the hospital. As she driving she starts thinking of how close they were before that night.*


*Flashback*
“C’mon Pollie…wear that dress bitch, its killer on you”

“Shonda I really don’t want to go to the party, I don’t want to wear this dress…”

“This is last party of the year! And you’ve been my girl for how long?” Looks at herself in the full length mirror. “I don’t mind.”

It’s so not Shonda to loan out her clothes but, she had worn that little black number at least 4 times this year, as far as she was concerned it was tired. So why not let Pollie wear it, maybe it would give her just the right boost to FINALLY give it up to that fine ass fiancé of hers. After all it had worked for her...

“Yeah, yeah but what about all your sorors?"

As she rolls her eyes and smoothes the dress down; she did look good and she had lost all that weight. 17 lbs made a big difference. And it came off so quick too.

“You put me aside a long time ago for them.”

“Well, you got your sorors too, but this ain’t about them we was rolling long before we knew any of them stank heffas. WE…US! I know we’ve had our ups n’ downs but we swore we’d always be REAL sisters.”

“You right, not even opposing sorors can keep us apart. But I have a TEST tomorrow!”

“UGH… you’re already the fucking valedictorian… what difference will one test make?”

“I haven’t busted my ass to get through school damn near debt free to fuck it off on one test that could break my GPA!” Looks at her “sister”… “Damn already stop giving me the pitiful face…”

Shonda hugs her from the back and whispers “You and me must never part...” They both start laughing, as Pollie turns and hugs her. “Okay… I’ll go.”

In unison they chant “PARTY OVER HERE! AIN’T SHIT OVER THERE!” They leave the apartment not knowing this was the last time they would be “sisters”.
